On Thursday I went to Basel to Emanuel (the guy in Stuttgart on the Paganfest it was) to visit and go with him to a concert. The main act was
Kamelot, was the opening act Leaves' Eyes and the pre-opening act was Adagio. As some know, I'm not at all an incredibly handicapped adagio fangirl and I went mainly because of them on the tour, Leaves' Eyes, I knew, but Kamelot are also among my favorites.
Adagio had been kicked out their singer (Christian Palin) and selected for this tour as a replacement Mats Leven. So I did not know exactly what to expect, especially since I did not know Mats Leven and yet somehow doubted that he would be as good as Christian Palin. ; _;
Then when they came on stage, playing as the first song Vamphyri, but I was more than disappointed, even Fear Circus they had screwed it. While most keyboard player and guitarist Stéphan Forté Codfert Kevin actually played very well, was Mats Leven ... not so well? He had two songs (which were incidentally one of my favorite songs; _;) more than just screwed it. Some notes he has taken only not at all, he sang just different than other Christian it (on the CDs at least) did, that in itself is not bad, but I've found it inappropriate. He seemed to have less power and not to sing so clean, but well, I've never heard her sing live Christian Palin. The songs then have again sounded much better, especially Second Sight fit good. I had a general impression that Mats Leven did not fit well with the music on Archangels in Black, with most of the songs played came from the album. But he looked damn cool and still had curls wilder than Stéphan! : D

Well, even if it was disappointing, I would definitely want me to watch again.
Leaves' Eyes I did not say how, so I can not write much. Doing anything towards Gothic or Symphonic Metal, two singers, a singer who had guttural vocal takes, and a singer who sang just like ... how women do it in metal bands containing mostly clear and high. I would actually say that they are a very average band that has stayed with me, none of the songs really remember, but this could be because for my taste too much female voice was there, just on my nerves after a while. The male singer has growled the way in every other song and was otherwise a line around every 10 seconds and called stupid embarrassing things like "WHERE ARE YOUR HANDS?". He was really unnecessary, but well, he's part of the band, even if his task is apparently not so important ... But he had nice hair. \u0026lt;3 TO LESS (!) THE ASS, BITCHES.
But the funny to Leaves' Eyes, was that they wanted to play for us seems a live porn, somehow, the two singers together rumgemacht (?), At least it seemed at times like this. Once the woman walked in front of the singers so in a crouch that both Emanuel and I thought that she immediately takes off his pants ... ;_________;
The performance was, in my opinion, more embarrassing than interesting, but musically not even really bad ... the interaction with the audience was holding something wrong.
Then we went to the merchandise stand and Adagio WERE DA: DDDDDDD
I bought a live CD and then they signed me a poster. : D Franck Hermanny wanted to even ask for a photo with him, but I had no camera there. ;_____________; And I think they thought I was a French girl, because I've paid with €. 8D Anyway, I talked with the Adagio of fags! \u0026lt;3333

Then came Kamelot ...
Such a great show as they gave Kamelot I've never seen, not even Alestorm could top that. Especially in such a simple hall like the Z7.
course Kamelot have played wonderful, that I expect from such simple Band, but what they have brought to the stage, was really incredible. ;___;
came off the stage all the time columns of fire and Roy Khan stood in the middle and we were afraid all the time, that he might die or something (8D), but this cool pig has simply continued to sing, such as there would be nothing. , _, And they had so a woman who does not belong to the band and sing songs every few times has to do during the show, I have moved 2 or 3 times in normal Gruftitante to Snow White on the belly dancer dominatrix. 8DDDD But she has fitted very well in there. : D

As for the setlist, I was impossible for me to remember everything, but they played some super mega horny things like When the Lights Are Down, Center of the Universe and March of Mephisto, the latter in only the second addition to annoy me because I've been waiting all night to the song . ; _;
And in the end there were fireworks. YES, IN THE HALL. FIREWORKS.

If they come again next year, I will definitely go to MUST. Even if the Vorvorband next year should not be Adagio. x3
Oh and the next day and I have Emanuel determined 6 hours at Anime watched. We have seen Lucky Star and Azumanga Daioh, God, I love actually no anime, but that was divine, especially Lucky Star. ;_________;
